The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne is looking for Lounge & Bar Host to join the team on a Part-Time basis!

JOB SUMMARY

This is your chance to join one of Australia’s leading luxury hotel brands, The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne dining outlets offer sweeping expansive views across the city which provide the perfect backdrop for an experience that’s singularly Melbourne.

The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne is looking for an enthusiastic and driven an experienced, dedicated, reliable and motivated individual to be the welcoming face of our Signature Lounge and Bar. The Signature Lounge and Bar will be offering an all-day menu, along with an elegant, elevated high tea experience. Your main responsibilities will be to provide exceptional customer service in the lounge by anticipating and fulfilling the needs of our guests. Ensure cleanliness of the venue and ability to perform opening and closing duties.

Working alongside some of the most talented and driven professionals in the industry, this role sees your passion for guest services and restaurant reservation management aid in the success of our Signature Restaurant.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; 1 years’ experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.

OR

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1-years’ experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
• Beneficial to have prior five-star hotel mixed with standalone restaurant experience, especially using table management system (e.g., sevenrooms, open table)
• Strong organization & communication skills required for this role.
• Must have a Victorian RSA certificate & full Australian working right.
