Academic Administrator, Curricular and Student Advising – Social and Cultural Analysis

Arts & Science is seeking a talented Academic
Administrator, Curricular and Student Advising to join the Department of Social and Cultural Analysis. This individual will serve as primary
source of information to the general public, students, staff and faculty on policies, procedures for SCA’s 7 undergraduate majors.
Administer advising for undergraduate majors, prospective majors and minors. Support on-going evaluation of curricular programs. Create a
yearly master course schedule in concert with the Directors and Chair. Monitor enrollments and course evaluations. Work with the Directors
of Undergraduate Studies and Graduate Studies on outreach and events, especially as related to building SCA majors and undergraduate life in
the department.

Qualifications:

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Education:
Master’s
Degree

Required Experience:
3+ years relevant experience in student advising, curricular development affairs, or
educational administration.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal, organizational,
written and verbal communication skills. Data driven with the ability to create queries that drive strategic curriculum decisions for all
stakeholders. Working knowledge of Excel, and understanding of data platforms and data analysis.

Additional Information:

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act,
the annual base salary range for this position is USD $63,000.00 to USD $70,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity,
as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any
additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
