Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Academic Services
Officer I/II at its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties):
Masters of Arts, AGRADE, and certificate
program advising
Special Programs Coordination
Assist with course Scheduling and Bulletin
Assist with Undergraduate and
Graduate Recruiting
Initiate tuition preparation and payments
Override processing for undergraduate and graduate
students
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required for ASO I
Master’s
degree required for ASO II
Ability to work effectively with a diverse population of students (undergraduate and graduate), Faculty
and Staff
Effective organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communications
Exceptional interpersonal
skills
Ability to collaborate effectively and enthusiastically in a team
Ability to work some evenings and
weekends
