Schedule: Full Time Shift : Monday – Friday Location: Remote The role you’ll contribute: The Reconciliation Services department facilitates the reconciliation of various aspects of the cash receipt and record process. The Accounting Manager oversees the accounting functions related to this process, specifically classifying insurance payments and consolidated self-pay activities to the appropriate accounts. The role is also responsible for a wide variety of projects, focused on designing processes and strategies for improvement. This role requires an experienced problem solver who can adapt to complete special projects as needs arise, which include but are not limited to data analytics, audits, leveraging software capabilities to promote project efficiencies, and supporting the design and implementation of new processes. The value you’ll bring to the team: Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting to generate actionable information in an effort to achieve business objectives Collaborate with functional and technical leaders to define/refine project roles and responsibilities Collaborate with Information Technology stakeholders to ensure appropriate systems, enhancements, and tools are effectively utilized across the team Maintain a working knowledge of core functions throughout the Reconciliation Services department Coordinate effective communication with key stakeholders within the organization, (i.
e. , revenue cycle, physician practices, operations, finance, etc. ) to execute project plans Identify and drive issues through resolution and use judgment and discretion in escalating issues to department, functional/technical, and facility leadership as necessary Gather and analyze data related to current processes and computerized systems to identify opportunities for departmental and organizational improvement Use business data and statistical methods to provide insight into business risks and identify areas to audit for ongoing monitoring of established processes Lead, develop, and implement process changes to assist the department with continued alignment with strategic objectives Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance Manage assigned projects by prioritizing work to meet established deadlines and overall time budget, ensuring that objectives are accomplished while keeping management informed of project status Perform other duties as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department Be available outside of normal business hours for occasional support needs Leadership Oversee and coordinate team members (including consultants and facility personnel when necessary) Lead and support continuous improvement activities by analyzing metrics and identifying needed system modifications and process changes Develop and maintain productive team-oriented relationships through individual contacts and group meetings Provide ongoing feedback, training and support to new and existing team members to continually develop the skills of each individual Provide effective feedback, coaching, counseling or discipline to employees when needed Achieve superior customer satisfaction by embracing and exemplifying the AdventHealth service standards Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, IT, or related business field from an accredited college or university Four years of experience in Healthcare Finance Two years of management experience.
