LOCATION: 4200 Pleasant Valley Road, Chantilly, VA 20151 HOURS: Flexible Daytime hours; Monday – Friday FULL TIME: Benefits Eligible Position requires in office attendance 1-2 days per week, not fully remote. In this role you will: Research and reconcile denied and unpaid medical claims Collect reimbursements for services rendered by reviewing insurance carriers reject reports, EOB’s and/or correspondence Use established protocols to contact providers and clients to resolve discrepancies in processed, partially paid and unpaid claims with timely appropriate follow up action Essential Functions: Obtain Service Requisition forms for processing Review a variety of data and perform data entry Sort and file completed requisition forms by date of service Perform accurate sorting and filing of completed transactions Maintain a daily report of all completed transactions Develop strong data entry skills, with the ability to meet production guidelines as set by A/R department policy Interact effectively with Team Leads and Supervisor to resolve complex issues Must have the ability to stay focused and perform job duties efficiently and accurately Duties include but are not limited to the above mentioned responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned Skills: Knowledge of computer technology and terminology Ability to type and demonstrate 10 key proficiency Perform duties in a timely and accurate manner Maintain confidentiality of information Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the company, with patients and physician office staff Possess effective work habits and ability to build/maintain work relationships Ability to read and comprehend English Ability to work under deadlines All you need is: Medical Billing Certification At least 6-12 months experience in Denials or Accounts Receivable Strong computer skills with proficiency or knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Experience in multitasking environment Anchillary service experience Laboratory experience, a plus Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: Job Category: Accounts Receivable Company: Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Inc.
