Wilmington, Delaware, Primary Functions: The Administrative Coordinator will provide administrative/secretarial support, and coordination of tasks/directly related to the functions within the NCCBD. Provides support to the leadership of the Nemours Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders. Duties will include coordinating meetings/events for the NCCBD, to include both DE and FL locations. This position will coordinate activities such as meetings, special projects, correspondence, reports, presentations, travel requests, expense reports, purchase orders, and physician credentialing needs,. This position will interact with Nemours Senior leadership, Hospital and Physician leadership at Nemours Children’s Hospital-DE and throughout the enterprise . Essential Functions: Coordinate all activities for the Center leadership related to various committees/conferences and teams as assigned, including travel arrangements. Support the credentialing process for providers within the center. Coordinates Departmental Meetings – Staff Mtg. , Rounds, Teaching Conferences, etc. , serving as scribe when needed.
Provide administrative support which includes, but is not limited to, maintaining Providers’ files related to licensure and education; maintaining on-call schedules for the center; managing reimbursements, supply orders, and invoice processing; managing patient and administrative correspondence for providers in the center. Update and submit payroll for assigned associates within the center. Serves as primary contact/resource for facilities and IT/Communication needs. Develop, update, and maintain educational materials as requested by center leadership. Maintain current and accurate project files. Handle diversified duties and multiple open projects. Job Requirements: High School diploma required. Associate degree preferred Minimum of 5-7 years progressive Medical Office experience
