Become a part of a team that values and invests in you.   JOB LOCATION Duke South Clinics – 40 Duke Medicine Circle, Durham, NC   JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an  ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR  who is a  COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGIST  for  PROVIDER ENGAGEMENT, CULTURE and CHANGE STRATEGY  to proactively identify opportunities to enhance and promote improvements to the provider experience. The position develops and manages short- and long-term critical priorities and activities, change management and strategic communications, representing the interests and priorities of the organization and its people.   JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work in close partnership with the PDC and Duke University Health System’s leadership teams to be a credible activist for the providers, the organization, and our mission, vision and values. Drive engagement programs throughout the organization by planning a well-designed calendar of events and managing programs and initiatives that promote member appreciation, recognition, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Assist with change management communications, which includes fostering broad understanding of complex concepts and encourages engagement and transition activities.   Conduct needs’ assessments such as focus groups, surveys and meetings to assess stakeholders’ interests as well as conduct research on innovative best practices to identify organizational gaps.   Develop and present communications plans to leadership to include timelines, milestones deliverables and return on investment for identified projects and initiatives. Monitor and analyze impact of initiatives and progress towards goals continually measuring effectiveness and ensuring timeliness of projects and deliverables Establish and drive a multi-channel communications strategy, working with all forms of media such as digital campaigns, print materials, social media, audio and video, websites and more.

Develop, direct and implement communications strategies targeted at Provider Engagement.   Plan or coordinate events that create Provider Engagement.   Oversee the creation of promotional and informative materials for broad audiences that may be internal and/or external as well as establish a creative look, feel and writing tone to foster a positive and progressive culture that highly values patients and its people.   Remain knowledgeable about upcoming projects and commitments in order to anticipate the necessary needs, tasks, work effort, and resources required to meet and/or exceed expectations. Demonstrate discernment and tact in challenging the norm, questioning direction, and recommending innovative solutions.   Perform all other duties as assigned.   JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. Master’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or another related field preferred.   Work requires a minimum of seven years of related healthcare industry experience in roles of increasing complexity and scope that includes communications and public relations.   Project Management experience preferred.
