Wilmington, Delaware, The ChristianaCare Administrative Fellowship is a one-year training program offered to students in their final year of, or a recent graduate, of an accredited Masters Program in Health Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH) , or a related field. As a large health system in a small state, ChristianaCare will offer a unique, challenging and diverse learning experience for our fellow. We are engaged in many efforts to transform our health system and meet the health care challenges facing our community and nation. Principal Duties and Responsibilities The selected candidate for this role will: Gain hands-on, project-specific experience, while getting exposure to many elements of our health care delivery system in areas such as our service lines, essential services, medical group, information technology, home health, and others. Interact with key system-wide leaders as we work collaboratively to improve the health of our neighbors across Delaware. ` Work collaboratively with Preceptor to identify projects, rotations and key learning opportunities. Utilize assessment skills learned to support the management of assigned patients. Attend senior management meetings which will support the understanding of operating as a total health care system. Engage in rotations to develop a broad understanding of the integrated health system. Actively participate in the Administrative Fellowship Program education curriculum Participate in professional development.
