JOB LOCATION Growing Child Pediatrics – 260 Horizon Dr, Raleigh, NC JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a Bilingual Appointment Coordinator for a pediatric practice to answer the incoming calls and schedule the appropriate appointments for the needs of the patient. Coordinate and perform a variety of duties associated with appointment scheduling for clinic visits, studies and procedures. Typically serves as the first point at which a patient is registered into Duke Health System. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Review and Coordinate appointment requests, determine appropriate services, physician and appropriateness of setting Identify correct patient in Maestro Care; verify patient demographic and insurance data Notify patients of co-payment requirements and outstanding balances Coordinate appointments in accordance with provider preferences. Notify patients of appointment time and location JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS Minimum of one year of work experience in directly communicating and providing service to the general public; preferably in a healthcare related field. Experience in effectively coordinating multiple tasks or activities. Prefer call center experience. Work requires knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles normally acquired through high school education.
Bilingual English/Spanish JOB HOURS The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
