Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include: –

Preparing sketch/scheme designs and specifications;
Prepare architectural designs, plans, and specifications, using AUTOCAD;
Assist in designing alterations to buildings and structures and in preparing accurate drawings;
Ensure modern building construction methods and materials are used for every works/project;
Producing drawings, interpretation of client’s requirements;
Posting contract administration.

Requirements for appointments
For appointment to this position a candidate must have: –

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a university recognized in Kenya;
Served in the grade of Architectural Assistant II in Public Service or Private Sector for at least two (2) years;
Graduate membership with the Architectural Association of Kenya;
Certified AutoCAD designer or Technical Design Draughtsman; and
Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.
Terms of Service: Three (3) Year Contract.
