Assistant Electrical Engineer

ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS
The county is composed of six Constituencies, 15 administrative divisions namely: Ainamoi,Belgut, Kabianga, Bureti, Roret, Cheborge, Sigowet and Soin. Other Admibnistrative Divisions are: Kunyak, Chilchila, Kamasian, Kipkelion, Londiani, Sorget and Chepseon. These are further su-devided into 85 locations that are further sub-divided into 209 sub-locations. It covers an area of2,479 sq. km.KCPSB/2023/202

Duties and Responsibilities at this level will entail: –

Designing, installing and maintaining electrical engineering services in offices, conferences complexes educational institutions, public buildings and centralized catering and laundry units;
Collecting and compiling data in consultation with the user of facilities to determine the appropriate development requirements; and;
Supervising installation work carried out by contractors.

Requirement for Appointments
For appointment to this grade an officer must have: –

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Registration by Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer; and
Proficiency in computer applications.
Terms of Service: Three (3) Year Contract.
