Boston, Massachusetts, Associate Director of Enrollment Communications and Marketing About the Opportunity Job Summary The Associate Director of Enrollment Communications and Marketing is responsible for the oversight of all communications and marketing activities for the Bouve College of Health Sciences Office of Enrollment Management, including developing, guiding, and implementing the communications strategy and managing the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic material. The Associate Director of Enrollment Communications and Marketing will develop and implement comprehensive and creative communications and marketing plans that are consistent with the overall strategic plan of the College and University, including on-campus and off-campus programs, student search, and travel and territory management. The incumbent fulfills a key role in internal and external enrollment communications and marketing, to support program and enrollment growth, for Bouve College of Health Sciences. This position works alongside and as the liaison with the Bouve College of Health Sciences Office of Marketing and Communications. This position will work with campus entities including but not limited to: Central Admissions and Enrollment, Central Marketing, College Success, Bouve College Office of Marketing and Communications, Institutional Advancement/Development, faculty, campus-wide public events, areas of Student Life, and more. This position may require the ability to travel locally and nationally, which may include evening and weekend hours. This position reports to the Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in journalism, public relations, marketing, English, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in the communications and marketing field involving CRM management, marketing, sales enablement, or lead generation. Knowledge of marketing communications and trends that support student recruitment initiatives across multiple platforms, including print, visual, social media, web, and advertising.
Experience in email marketing and compelling storytelling. Excellent editing and written communications skills. Strong oral communication skills and a sophisticated understanding of what should be communicated to different audiences, from alumni to prospective students. Ability to organize multiple layers of copy and maintain consistency in voice, brand, and website architecture. Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, email, social media networking, and scheduling applications as required. Demonstrated proficiency in AP Style writing and copyediting. Experience using student information systems, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and communication technologies to recruit and enroll students. Proven management and mentoring skills and experience working with professional and support staff to implement and execute programs. Strong quantitative and data analysis skills and the ability to use data to make decisions. Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals.
Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate clearly in person and in writing. Ability to accurately provide information and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, students, and the general public. Ability to work independently, complete work in a thorough and timely manner, and balance competing demands with courtesy and tact.
