Transform the everyday through your role in creating sustainable transport solutions.

You will be supporting our bids and tenders for small to medium sized projects as per the Siemens regulatory framework with the strive to implement contracts for handover to project delivery and ensuring the customer bid requirements are met.

You will:

  • Be responsible for the development and submission of customer proposals (bids, budgetary proposals, EOI and Pre-qual or similar).
  • Liaise with Sales team to develop a competitive response strategy, and Tender Engineering team to identify the most appropriate technical solution and source associated base estimates and related tender deliverables from the relevant Work Package teams.
  • Liaise with the Business Administration/Commercial team for commercial responses.
  • Communicate effectively with the Customer to clarify proposal requirements and negotiate proposal submissions.
  • Manage estimate calculations and customer price schedule generation for minor bids (or parts thereof)
  • Complete customer schedules and returnable for proposals in high quality submissions.
  • Support proposal process at any stage as part of the sales and tendering team, and present to executive management if needed.
  • Simultaneously handle a number of bids in multiple regions and for possibly one or more customers.

  • You are an experienced bid manager with project management background in rail or other infrastructure projects, or prior experience supporting bid management or related activities.
  • You have tertiary education in Engineering or Business Management related disciplines
