Certified Medical Assistant I

Morristown/NJ/USA, Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking an experienced full-time Certified Medical Assistant I, at Rockaway Specialty Practice part of Atlantic Medical Group. The position is Monday-Friday and hours will typically be 10am – 6pm. Responsibilities Essential Functions: The CMA will perform clinical as well as administrative functions i. e. vital signs, patient intake, all aspects of rooming patients, handle patient messages and communication, administer immunizations, exam room and supply maintenance, register and schedule patients in a practice management system. Qualifications Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required License/Certifications: MA certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required Valid NJ Driver’s license required as travel between sites may be requested Relevant Experience: EMR experience desired Post externship experience preferred About Us Atlantic Health System aims to deliver the highest quality, safety and care combined the best experience for our patients and their families.
