Job Description:
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for overseeing the
development and/or revision, implementation, training, and compliance with equity processes, including sex- and gender-related equity (Title
IX), race, ethnicity, religion, ADA, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Supervise Director of Prevention and Advocacy and Title IX and
Civil Rights Investigator (either in-house or contract) and oversee investigations - Oversee staffing of initial outreach to
complainants and respondents, as well as supportive follow-up. - Supervise provision of supportive measures, through support people
and Campus Safety - Lead weekly bias report meeting, in which all ongoing student-based complaints are discussed and reviewed
- Collaborate with the Academic Resource Center and Human Resources to develop and/or review policies and processes related to ADA
accommodations for students and employees. - Collaborate with the VPEID to monitor the College environment for equity-related issues
to be addressed, particularly those that may be addressed through and/or have policy and/or process implications - Oversee and
coordinate training opportunities for staff, faculty, and students regarding complaints and equity resolution processes - Engage with
staff, faculty, and students around concerns with equity resolution processes and feedback on ongoing revisions to equity processes. As a
component of this, sit on and participate in Scot Council - Engage in targeted compliance reviews, including planned Title IX equity
analysis within Divisions and departments. - Partner with the VPEID, as well as HR and the Provost to develop, pilot, and subsequently
maintain equity training for all search committees (faculty & staff) - Convene and lead the student-focused Campus Care Team to
assist with equitable treatment of all students of concern - Maintain deep relationships with DOS, HR, the Provost’s Office, CDI,
Academic Resource Center, and VPEID to ensure that equity processes continually improved for hiring, promotion, accommodation and resolution
of complaints and concerns.
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Master’s degree
in a field related to the duties and responsibilities of the position. Equivalent work experience strongly preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; strong organizational skills; the ability to
manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
