The Coca-Cola Company
- Leads, Develops and Stewards the dispensed operations, with a focus on freestyle (quality, equipment, mechanical install/service and product distribution), the strategy for the Away from Home Channel across Europe OU, supporting business development initiatives and plans that are aligned and consistent with the OU and global customer strategies.
- Develops and influences Europe collaborative operations networks for business growth initiatives with International and Global Customers, KO operating units and bottlers for freestyle and new generation dispensed equipment for KO brands, and other possible joint venture brands (Costa, Innocent, Monster, etc.).
- Directs and designs business system services for customers and bottlers to support dispensed operations.
- Collaborates with Freestyle Innovation Centre on dispensed enterprise-wide initiatives, providing input and expertise on freestyle and dispensed solutions.
- Lead the planning, and forecasting process for dispensed equipment in collaboration with the bottler.
- Manage external equipment operations providers for installation, repairs, and maintenance of equipment.
- Provides operations/technical leadership and stewardship, working closely with the Global AFH Customer Teams, Bottler teams, Corporate Engineering and Post-Mix suppliers.
- Is the primary operations/quality interface among local operating teams, external equipment providers, bottlers, Freestyle Innovation Centre, and Global Customer Teams focused on the European countries.
- Consults and collaborates on all technical issues relating to water quality, water treatment, Post-Mix technology, and beverage quality with country division associates, Bottlers, key customer buying influences, and Customer Management team members.
- Reports on the performance of the dispensed operations – sales performance, operational efficiency.
Experience
Strategic leadership roles with customers focused on equipment. Bottling experience or Foodservice experience is ideal.
Business experience across multiple functions (operations, equipment, innovation, technical)
Strong financial and business system acumen, and foundational understanding of consumers.
Work Focus
- STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT: Develop customer equipment strategy within our system business priorities and topline revenue targets. Build system equipment approach with OU focused on customers, aligning stakeholder coverage map with System leadership, including CCCO and CEO role in equipment strategy.
- INFLUENCING THE SYSTEM: Prepare strategy and equipment direction for bottler and KO OU C&CL input. Follow governance protocols for securing approval for equipment and executing mandate.
- FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: Accountable for: Financial analysis on equipment strategy. Minimize system financial exposure with equipment projects and maximize impact of pay for performance elements that support international agreements with customer teams.
Communication Focus
- External: Communicate directly with several senior level customer profiles, including up to CEO engagement. Adept at communicating KO and bottler business strategies, equipment & technical strategies, sustainability as well as an ability to connect opportunities based upon the customers equipment needs and strategy.
- Internal: Interacts with both operational and senior system leaders. Must be able to succinctly steward the business opportunities as well as risk. Must be able to engage with both bottling leadership in a market on implications beyond the individual customer as well as giving clear direction to the bottler sales teams working on that customer. Must be proficient at effectively handling customer equipment issues and misalignments in a manner that is both objective, transparent, as well as balanced while positively contributing to the customer relationship.
