As a Content Marketing Manager at CFC, you’ll be responsible for developing content strategies and leading positive-ROI execution that grows awareness and engagement through impactful storytelling across Second Step ® social and community channels. As a key contributor to top-of-funnel demand creation, this role serves as the public-facing voice of Second Step SEL programs on social media, working to develop and nurture audiences across multiple platforms.

What you’ll do when you join us:
Develop overall content strategies to maximize ROI and messaging impact in social media channels, including communities
Serve as the day-to-day voice of Second Step programs’ online communities and collaborate with the PR Comms Team to align content across CFC’s social media channels
Work closely with the Marketing, PR, Product Management, and Creative teams to ensure target audiences notice and are excited by our brand, while also providing community channels for Second Step users and influencers to deepen their experience by connecting with others
Manage budgets and generate metrics for organic and paid Second Step social media execution (including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
Create original content and curate third-party content for Second Step social media channels; collaborate with the CFC social media team on various campaigns and cross-promotional efforts
Create and implement the quarterly and annual strategic plan for Second Step social media development and online community development directly or in partnership with outside consultants as needed
Increase community engagement through live events, social media experiences, contests, awards, and other social community programs and shares on other Second Step social channels
Connect users of CFC programs in meaningful ways through powerful stories on our owned properties and in forums where they’re already actively engaged with each other
Support teams across CFC in using our community and social media assets in support of their work
Facilitate influencer-marketing campaigns, gather product feedback, and support customer loyalty and retention
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing social media strategies, campaigns, and storytelling, including budgeting and ROI/metrics tracking
Proven track record of developing content strategies and storytelling that increase audience engagement and contribute to lead generation
Thorough knowledge of all major social media channels with hands-on campaign development and results tracking
Previous experience with growing and managing online communities
Deep understanding of digital marketing best practices and analytics, including ROI measurement
A solutions-oriented approach to work?
Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and livestreaming and virtual event platforms (Eventbrite preferred)

The hiring range for this position is $75,000.00 – $105,000.00 annually. The pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
