Design Operations Consultant (Hybrid)

Dallas, Texas, JOB SUMMARY The Design Operations Consultant will support our research and design leaders and collaborate with cross-functional leaders at all levels of the organization to identify and drive efficiencies. This individual will define and drive initiatives that improve research and design team collaboration, velocity, and impact and improve our ways of working with cross-functional partners. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE Develop lightweight, foundational and scalable processes, standards, workflows and tools that keep the team nimble and successful in a culture that moves fast and iterates quickly Define, document, and implement all CX processes and norms, always keeping Agile principles in mind Establish best practices, tools, templates, and forums to enable the CX Office to scale desired processes Define standards, benchmarks, metrics, and review of tools and vendors in our research and design tool kit to ensure we are getting the most value from our investment Act as a strategic partner both to research and design leadership and cross-functional leadership on large, complex problems and operational programs KEY SUCCESS FACTORS Bachelor’s degree required 3+ years of relevant experience in a Design Operations, Design Program Management, Product Management, or a PMO function Highly organized, energetic, and creative thinker Demonstrated track record of improving the productivity of teams, products, and systems Experience working directly with product designers, UX researchers, and content strategists Knowledge of product design and research processes and strategies Experience working with cross-functional teams from road mapping through delivery Demonstrated ability to drive results/outcomes, not just process Exceptional communication skills to represent the voice of internal customers BENEFITS Our competitive benefits package includes the following – Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits – 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5% – Tuition Reimbursement – PTO accrual beginning Day 1 Note: Benefits may vary based upon position type and/or level QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION – Bachelor’s – EXPERIENCE – 3 Years of Experience – Design Operations/ Design Program Management/Management Consulting experience preferred
