Morristown/NJ/USA, Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Dietetic Assistant for the food service department at Morristown Medical Center to work varies shift. Responsibilities Essential Functions/Responsibilities: AHS is seeking a Diet Office Assistant to join the Food & Nutrition Department. Responsibilities for this position will include taking patient Room Service orders via phone and/or at the bed side. Team member will assist patients with making meal selections appropriate for the prescribed diet order. This will include offering alternative choices as well as accommodating cultural and/or religious preferences. The ability to multi-task is essential in this position. Candidates will be expected to exhibit excellence in office practices including but not limited to: telephone etiquette and accurate record keeping. Candidate will show good judgment, reliability, and responsibility while adhering to the department policies and procedures. Ensuring patient satisfaction is a top priority, excellent customer service skills are a must for this position. Qualifications Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum Experience: Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Ideal candidate will have a working understanding of the basic guidelines for therapeutic diets (preferred). Candidates should be familiar with the use of general office equipment, including computers.
