EOE Position Information: The Director of Home Health Services is responsible for the administrative management including the clinical, operating and financial outcomes for WakeMed Home Health and Community Care Management. Position is accountable for the integration of WakeMed mission, vision and values into the performance of all areas of responsibility. Works in collaboration with customers, administration, medical staff, peers, and subordinates to fulfill job responsibilities, meet performance standards, achieve departmental goals and objectives. Actively involved in developing business strategies/opportunities for growth in the home and residential health arena. Develops and maintains effective business relationships with physicians and healthcare extenders to ensure growth opportunities for home health services.

Ensures the Home and Residential Health Services department is strategically aligned with the health systems strategic goal of improving the health and well-being of the communities served by the health system. Experience Requirements: 3 Years Clinical – Home or Community Health And Business Operations Required – And 2 Years Management – Direct Area of Responsibility Required – And Customer Service Preferred – And Referral Development Preferred Education Required: Master’s Degree Nursing Or Health Administration Or Business Administration Required Licensure/Certification Requirements: Registered Nurse Preferred Hours of Work: 8-4:30 Weekend Requirements: As Needed Call Requirements: yes
