Job Summary

In collaboration with key stakeholders this individual will implement programs and
initiatives designed to facilitate student success via tutoring or embedded classroom support. Provide one-on-one small group tutoring to
students in the Writing Centers. Supervise embedded tutors.

Essential Duties

Coordinate embedded tutoring
program for developmental reading and writing classes. Hire, train, and supervise embedded tutors. Facilitate team
meetings.

Collaborate with Academic Lab Coordinators, Tutoring Services, and developmental reading and writing faculty on tutoring
projects, initiatives, and plans.

Design, implement, and deliver professional development on embedding tutoring for faculty members
teaching developmental coursework. Create content and present embedded tutoring information and updates at the fall and spring Welcome Back
meetings to faculty members who teach developmental coursework.

Create and update student resources, including online resources,
handouts, and other helpful resources. Design and implement workshops for students.

Maintain grant records and data on embedded
tutoring.

Provide one-on-one tutoring in the Writing Centers.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
writing, English, Literature, Education, or related area.

One year experience tutoring or teaching.
One year supervision
experience.

Ability to organize daily work and the work of your employees and perform duties under limited
supervision.

Excellence in verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively interact with others.

Ability to
travel between TCC campuses.
Highly proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred
Qualifications

Master’s degree. Degree requirement may be substituted with equivalent work experience.

Experience in
developmental education or writing.

Experience with Microsoft office 365.
