Schedule:   Full Time Shift :  Monday – Friday Location: 893 Hope Way Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 The role you’ll contribute: The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for overseeing and providing support to the geographically deployed Employee Relations teams. This individual will serve as a strategic partner and provide guidance, information, and recommendations to AdventHealth employees, HR Business Partners, HR leaders, Legal counsel, and state/federal agencies in the resolution of employee relations issues. The service scope of the Employee Relations Manager includes: employee relations, dispute resolutions, performance management, positive employee relations, retention strategies, policy and procedure support, and strategic employee relations planning.   The value you’ll bring to the team:           Manages the delivery of the employee relations function through leadership of the Employee Relations Specialists           Provides direction and guidance to   Employee Relations Specialists on specific employee relations issues and investigations           Designs and administers the implementation of proactive programs, procedures, and plans related to employee relations issues           Partners with HR Business Partners, HR Shared Services, and HR leaders to help identify and remedy employee relations issues, alleviate legal risk, and/or create work practices which promote positive employee relations           Partners with HR Business Partners and Employee Relations Specialists in the rollout of HR initiatives, especially those related to the promotion of positive employee relations           Provides support for various audits           Responds to claims and/or litigation including collecting data, analyzing data, providing summary information of data, drafting correspondences, and/or acting as the liaison between attorneys and agencies           Analyzes wage data and policy and procedures           Participates in audits as directed by the Employee Relations leadership team           Makes appropriate remedial recommendations to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures and employment laws and regulations           Serves as a liaison between facilities, employees, and leadership and the HR Shared Services Employee Relations department           Assists in building leadership’s ability to manage performance issues through effective coaching and training           Works collaboratively to provide support for escalated employee relations claims           Provides leadership and support to team members on policy interpretation and other employee relations matters           Stays current on employment law, as well as employment trends           Proactively researches information to ensure compliance, provide appropriate consultation, and avoid/eliminate exposure to the organization           Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :           Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Human Resources, or relevant field required           Minimum of five years of Employee Relations experience required, including conducting investigations           Minimum of three years of experience in a management role required   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:           Master’s degree preferred           Experience in the employee relations function at a large sized organization preferred This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
