About the Role: Job Summary Leverages and expands the capabilities of existing analytical tools and technologies. Recommends new tools, technologies, and intelligence sources as appropriate. Analyzes security systems log files, reconciles correlated security events, and further develops current security event correlation capabilities. Supports investigations with intelligence collection, analysis, and/or dissemination. Ability to think logically and creatively in problem solving. Ability to anticipate and quickly respond to emerging threats. Builds and Manages Information Security Infrastructure to include Anti-Malware, Data Loss Prevention, End-point encryption, Incident Detection and Response, Mobile Device Management Vulnerability Management tools. Minimum Job Qualifications Licensure or other certifications: Cybersecurity Certification. Educational Requirements: Minimum Experience: Five (5) years of IT security operations experience.
Other: Preferred Job Qualifications Preferred Licensure or other certifications: Preferred Educational Requirements: CISSP or CISA certification. May hold additional IT security certifications. Preferred Experience: Healthcare IT security. Other: Job Specific and Unique Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be able to follow written technical instructions without assistance Minimum of three years working in a complex IT Security administrator position Well organized and able to communicate effectively with end users as well as ITS staff Must be detail oriented Knowledge of Incident Response and Detection Essential Tasks and Responsibilities Understanding Business requirements, process, and practice. Working knowledge of forensic tools. Research, recommend, and architect NGHS Security infrastructure tools. Understanding of incident investigations processes and reporting. Experience managing enterprise anti-virus, DLP (Data Loss Prevention) and encryption. Experience and expertise with ethical hacking, firewall and intrusion detection/prevention technologies, secure coding practices and threat modeling. Must have solid working experience and knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
Experience in designing secure network architectures, virtualization technologies, MySQL/MSSQL database platforms, identity and access management principles, application security, encryption technologies, DNS (Domain Name Service), SOAP (webapp platform) and web applications. Familiar with HIPAA Security and other regulatory healthcare requirements and provide input on security policy and protocol to ensure compliance. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritizing work to meet and or exceed expectations. Reviews new systems for appropriate application security and audit functionality.
