Boise, Idaho, OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 500+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a Family Practitioner (MD/DO) to work full-time at its Lake Hazel clinic. The Family Medicine physicians at the Lake Hazel clinic are dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of patients to include birth to end of life. You can expect a traditional clinic work week, M-F with no less than 34 hours of scheduled patient contact time. Call is shared, phone only, non-OB, and is currently 1:31 – 1 day per month, 2 weekends per year. The 8,000 square foot clinic is surrounded by a previously underserved residential area that continues to experience growth and development of new housing. The Lake Hazel clinic has procedure rooms, lab and digital X-Ray services on site, in addition to a fully staffed Urgent Care facility open every day 8am – 8pm. The Lake Hazel clinic utilizes EPIC for Electronic Medical Record. Support: 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia; Level IV Trauma Center; ED; Saint Alphonsus FM clinic on-site; community family medicine clinics; SAHS specialty physicians rotate in outreach, larger system resources. Requirements: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program Board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) (or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment) Obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA Recruitment package: This position is well compensated and includes sign-on incentives, relocation, student loan repayment, PTO & CME allocation, malpractice, health/dental/vision and 403b retirement.
