Logan, West Virginia, Description Logan Regional Medical Center is currently seeking to hire a Financial Analyst to maintain all appropriate and required accounting records and to generate and analyze all necessary and required financial reports.   We have a very team-oriented department with low turnover and take pride in our financial success here at Logan Regional Medical Center.   Our Directors and staff are willing to go the extra mile to help each other and ensure this continued success on a daily basis. The main responsibilities include:   Accumulates data for the preparation of the financial statements and other reporting requirements in a timely manner. Prepares assigned worksheets accurately. Accumulates data for journal entry preparation and prepares journal entries in an accurate and timely manner. Monitors general ledger reports for accuracy and balances supporting schedules back to the general ledger. Compiles budget information for the hospital accurately and distributes departmental budget reports timely. Carries out special projects as designated by the CEO, CFO, or the Controller. Gathers financial data requested internally and by outside agencies.

Qualifications Minimum Education Associate’s degree in field of financial study required. Bachelor’s degree in financial field preferred.   Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.   2 years experience or more in a financial setting.
