Orlando, Florida, Nemours is seeking a Financial Analyst II (Operational Finance), Full-Time, to join our Nemours Children’s Health team in Orlando, Florida. Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system. Our 130-bed pediatric hospital also features the area’s only 24-hour Emergency Department designed just for kids as well as outpatient pediatric clinics including several specialties previously unavailable in the region. In keeping with our goal of bringing Nemours care into the communities we serve, we also provide specialty outpatient care in several clinics located throughout the region. This position is responsible for financial budgeting, analysis, and reporting support to assigned departments/divisions. This includes continuous fiscal monitoring and analysis of key performance indicators and identifying and implementing business processes and financial practices which will contribute to improved financial performance. Position is also responsible for implementing and improving financial processes. In cooperation with appropriate administrators, develop and monitor operational and capital budgets, including revenue, expenses, and operating margins. Prepare monthly/quarterly variance reports, addressing both the cause and potential resolution of identified variances.

Develop and maintain business processes related to revenue and expenses. Prepare analyses which reflect appropriate opportunities for revenue enhancement or expense control. Maintain departmental compliance with departmental and organizational policies and procedures relating to expense reimbursements and payment processes for staff expenses, i. e. travel, dues, subscriptions. Prepare cost analyses for specific programs, procedures, or activity as requested or as necessary. Develop and maintain productivity measurements for assigned departments/divisions/programs. Meet with division leadership and providers as needed monthly to review productivity, associated revenue, and operating budgets. When issues or problems are identified, perform follow-up as indicated. Serve as an educator and resource to department members, members of Enterprise Services, and other members of the hospital/practice as related to business processes, financial systems, and pertinent policies and procedures.

Prepare invoices for payment and implement process improvements to automate. Perform special projects as identified by division leadership. Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience required. Healthcare experience preferred. Must have excellent Excel/spreadsheet analysis skills. Strong financial analysis and financial modeling skills. Solid understanding of accounting principles
