General Summary
The Fine Arts and XR Lab Coordinator works with CCC departments and external partners to provide theater technology and Extended Reality (XR) Lab support for the Columbus Campus. Special focus will be on maintaining theatrical spaces and technology as well as promoting the Fine and Performing Arts through social media and in-person events. The coordinator acts as technical director as needed for the college’s theatrical and musical productions. In addition, the coordinator will provide staffing and support in the college’s XR Lab, a space for cutting-edge, immersive technology. This position is split 75% Fine Arts and 25% XR Lab. Will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures. Will perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
Coordinates the maintenance of theater technology in collaboration with appropriate offices including Campus President, Facilities and Events Coordinator (schedules repairs, seeks bids, maintains repair schedule, establishes standards of repair and care, and provides regular upkeep of the space).

Trains staff and students on theater technology, serves as Technical Director for CCC Theatrical and Musical productions as needed, consults on technical direction, and schedules/provides technical support for Fine Arts performances.

In cooperation with Events Coordinator, acts as a liaison to establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations and school districts. Assists with coordinating special events such as District Music, District One-Act, and other competitions as needed.

Supports Fine and Performing Arts instructors in event preparation and promotion through social media, presentations, tours, and communications with prospective students and community entities. Manages promotional materials and calendar for timely communication.

Supports the day-to-day operations of the XR Lab, ensuring smooth functioning, collaborating to establish lab procedures and protocols, and maintaining lab resources such as equipment, software licenses, and materials. Coordinates and supports XR Lab usage and projects in collaboration with others.
