Florence, Alabama, North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL is seeking BC/BE Geriatric Medicine Physician to help continue to grow the service area with an outpatient clinic plus some nursing home work. Located an hour west of Huntsville International Airport, the Shoals is a beautiful riverfront community with excellent public and private school options, low crime rate, and affordable cost of living. Position Details: Mon-Fri work schedule 1:2 weekend call for Palliative Care patients No ER call required Inpatient admissions and management through NAMC Hospitalist service Great community need for Geriatric specialists J-1, O-1, and H-1B visa sponsorship available Position includes competitive salary and benefits, annual CME allowance, sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. About the Hospital: North Alabama Medical Center (NAMC) serves as a regional facility with more than 200 physicians on staff who represent more than 42 specialty areas of medicine. The 263-bed facility which opened in 2018, offers the community’s only open-heart surgery site, a complete line of women’s and children’s services and a complete line of medical and imaging services. A Level III Trauma Center, NAMC is the largest, most comprehensive medical facility in northwest Alabama and serves as the primary referral center for northwest Alabama, south central Tennessee and northeast Mississippi.
