Job Summary
The Graduate & Executive Programs Office in the Harbert College of Business is accepting applications for the position of Graduate Admissions Advisor. This position is responsible for recruiting students and providing assistance and advice in relation to the admissions process into the graduate programs. The recruitment focus of this position is the graduate executive business programs which include the Executive MBA, Physicians Executive MBA, and Master of Real Estate Development.

Essential Functions
- Recruits and enrolls prospective graduate students by advising the students over the phone, online, or in person to provide information about Auburn’s admissions process, scholarship opportunities, academic programs, and educational opportunities.
- Recruits and enrolls a robust and diverse population of students by participating in and coordinating recruitment activities.
- Presents admissions sessions, assists with calls and email communication, walk-in appointments, and hosts campus student meetings.
- Collaborates with others within the University by attending training opportunities throughout the year to ensure up-to-date information is provided to potential students.
- Participates in the graduate admissions process of students including, but not limited to, reviewing applications, scheduling admissions interviews, and recommending students for admission. Notifies applicants of admissions decisions and coordinates with the Graduate School, Registrar, and Student Financial Services as necessary.
- May develop recruiting, advising, and adjustment programs specific to executive students.
- Provides accurate and timely recruitment, expense, and purchasing reports.
- Supports, assists, and implements on-campus and off-campus events including, but not limited to, prospective student programs and executive student residencies.
- May travel to recruiting events and expos to recruit and represent the graduate business programs.
- Assists with achieving individual and overall University goals identified in the strategic plan.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Level I: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Marketing, Counseling, Public/Business Administration or related field with no experience.
Level II: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Marketing, Counseling, Public/Business Administration or related field plus 2 years experience in public relations, marketing, recruiting, advising and/or counseling. Experience must include at least 2 years at the preceding level or equivalent.
Level III: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Marketing, Counseling, Public/Business Administration or related field plus 4 years experience in public relations, marketing, recruiting, advising and/or counseling. Experience must include at least 2 years at the preceding level or equivalent.

Salesforce experience.
Experience with graduate or executive programs.
Salary Range: $31,100 – $51,800
