Job Description

As a graduate adviser, you will assist students by providing a thorough understanding of curriculum, graduate policies and requirements,
registration, as well as financial aid and billing processes. Through various methods of communication, you will provide proactive and
ongoing outreach to both Savannah and SCADnow (online) students, documenting all interactions in the department database. You will also
respond to calls and emails from students, parents, faculty, and staff as appropriate.

In this role, you will often collaborate with
other key SCAD departments, establishing relationships with chairs of academic programs and graduate coordinators. As needed, you will also
attend and observe some classes, thesis or final project presentations, graduate events, reviews, orientation sessions, and
graduation.

The successful candidate is a superb written and verbal communicator, has strong organizational skills, thrives in a
fast-paced environment, and works well on a team. Adaptability and flexibility are key in this role, as is efficient problem-solving. The
candidate must also demonstrate a genuine interest in students’ educational success.

Minimum
Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree

Travel Required: Less than 10%

Work Hours:
The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate
