Schedule: Monday- Friday 9-5PM Shift : Full Time The community you’ll be caring for: •Established in 1997 and now a 203-bed hospital •AdventHealth Celebration Health was designed as a Mediterranean resort-style facility to serve as a cornerstone of health in Disney’s planned community of Celebration, Florida •The hospital consistently delivers a state-of-the-art healing environment to residents of Osceola, Orange, Polk and Lake Counties, as well as to visitors from across the United States and the world. All within a ‘living laboratory’ of groundbreaking, research-driven clinical solutions that integrate mind, body and spirit in the defeat of illness and disease The role you’ll contribute:  The Grant Strategist sets the strategy and annual work plan to grow AdventHealth grant revenue from federal (NSF, NIH, HRSA, DOE, Title V, et al), state (annual appropriations, workforce, DOE, et al), and private (foundations, banks, corporations, associations) sources. Reporting to the Executive Director of Strategy and Clinical Operations of Nursing for AHCFD to create a strategy that supports AH Clinical and AdventHealth University on individual and integration efforts. The Grant Strategist works collaboratively with AdventHealth Grants Manager, AdventHealth Administration and Faculty, and AH Foundation Senior Grants Officer. The Grant Strategist supports the AdventHealth Research Committee and actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The value you’ll bring to the team: · Sets annual strategy and work plan for AdventHealth grants to optimize revenue and leverage opportunities  · Leads faculty and staff grant workshops to cultivate interest and build competencies in seeking and securing major strategic grants · Establishes annual grant calendar, supervises contract grant writer/s, and directs 12 successful, strategic submissions per year · Coordinates with AH Foundation grant team to optimize opportunities and prevent duplication · Grows annual grant revenue to $5 million by 2027 · Contributes to departmental assignments in support of strategic planning, policy and procedure development, and institutional assessment · Participates in campus activities that will inform and enhance duties KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: · Proficient in Federal Register and grant database research, MS Office Word-PowerPoint-Excel-Outlook · Expertise in gathering, analyzing, reporting, and presenting financial grant data · Expertise in communicating professionally (verbally and in writing) and presenting effectively · Excellent collaborative work ethic-experience-expertise, with track record of positive interpersonal relationships with faculty, staff, and grant-awarding professionals · Advanced project management skill, including proficiency with online project management systems · Ability to organize, collaborate and schedule workload to meet deadlines · Ability to track and follow through on open items · Ability to use critical thinking in problem solving Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  Three years of grant strategy, project management, database management experience in a professional environment  Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, data analytics, or related field This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
