Description This role will attend to oncology inpatients, primarily at Emory University Hospital (EUH) located at 1364 Clifton Road in Atlanta, Georgia. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to admissions,order management, discharges, supervision of house staff and advanced practice providers. Based on patient needs, the Department may need you to provide inpatient services at Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital (ESJH), combined approximately 26 weeks during the year. The incumbent will conduct research, including the support of clinical trials where applicable in the inpatient setting while collaborating with members of the the Department, Winship Cancer Institute, and across Emory University. As appropriate,we expect you will publish and present your findings in relevant journals and at professional society conferences. Other responsibilities include teaching and supervision of residents and Hematology and Medical Oncology fellows. You will beasked to give lectures and serve as a preceptor for residents and fellows in the outpatient clinics.
