Nashville, Tennessee, Cloyes , the North American leader in timing drive systems and engine components for original equipment manufacturers and the automotive aftermarket is hiring an exceptional Marketing Coordinator teammate.
Reports To: VP Global Marketing & Product Management
SUMMARY: The individual in this position is responsible for completing tasks that support Cloyes’ marketing initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Markets products by working as an active member of the team charged with developing and implementing marketing campaigns.
Tracks sales data, maintains promotional materials inventory, plans meetings and trade shows, maintains databases, and prepares a variety of supporting reports.
Build and support the implementation of marketing campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing execution plans; planning and organizing promotional presentations; and updating calendars.
Tracks product line sales by analyzing and entering sales and new business data.
Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
Leads in the development of promotional material production by coordinating requirements with the graphics providers, inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and new product information.
Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, and advertising; maintaining research databases.
Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating digital and analog mailing lists.
Monitors and meets budget targets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications.
Accomplishes goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
PREFFERED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Proven working experience in digital marketing or broader marketing realm, particularly within the industry.
Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns and content that engage, inform, and motivate.
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools.
Working knowledge of ad serving tools.
Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate clearly with various departments including graphic design, public relations and advertising, as well as managing vendors, contractors and freelancers.
Excellent interpersonal skills for representing organizations in public, during media events and product launches, product demonstrations and while participating at trade shows.
Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
Good computer skills for generating reports, viewing marketing metrics, extracting data and sharing this information with other team members in project updates. Working knowledge of basic computer applications, programs and features is a must with experience in web page development or graphic design being very helpful.
