The Marketing Coordinator assists with the marketing activities of the association’s products and business lines using marketing strategies and media to launch and position products and services. Responsibilities include:
Assist in the implementation and execution of marketing campaigns including basic copywriting for various channels including but not limited to email, website, and social media. Help maintain a consistent brand identity across all marketing materials and channels.
Monitor the results of marketing efforts and report successes or shortcomings to the Director of Marketing. Communicate campaign deliverables, objectives, and timelines to the team while providing instructions for promotion or use.
Support the Director of Marketing in establishing and evaluating a marketing strategy and plan by analyzing and assembling sales forecasts, updating calendars, and organizing and planning promotional presentations.
Conduct research to analyze competitive landscape, market trends, and customer behavior and prepare reports by collecting, summarizing, and analyzing data.
Maintain an inventory of sales support materials ensuring all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates will have:
1-3 years of experience in a similar role, or through internships and/or relevant college coursework.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Project management and time management skills.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with marketing strategies and marketing channels.
Organization, planning, and reporting skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Capacity to communicate with tact and professionalism.
Ability to develop a path toward problem solving and assist in the process to completion.
Strong multi-tasking skills with a comfort in maintaining multiple, often conflicting, priorities.
Ability to work autonomously with initiative.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Association Management Systems, and Content Management Systems.
