Become a part of a team that values and invests in you.     JOB LOCATION Duke Fertility Center – 5704 Fayetteville Rd, Durham, NC   JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a  Medical Assistant to perform a variety of routine duties in a hospital clinic to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients; set up and clean examination rooms and assist in instrument processing.   JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greet Patients Room patients using established protocol Assist providers as needed within scope of practice (ex. Assists with routine exams, procedures, chaperone exams) Sets up sterile field and assists provider during TVOR procedures. Perform POCT testing on site (urine and whole blood glucose) Ensures maintenance of the stockroom – unpacking supplies and keeping the room neat. Cleans patient room and prepares room for next patient using established protocol. Performs HLD of ultrasound probes using Trophon processor.
