Whittier, California, The Medical Staff Data Analyst is a professional specialized in the function of the medical staff department as it relates to credentialing activities for the Enterprise, the credentialing functions, and acts as a liaison between the medical staff, nursing staff and administration within the parameters established by the System Director, Administration, and the officers of the Medical Staff. Writing ability Computer proficiencies in Word, Excel, working in PDF documents, and MDStaff Excellent and effective communication skills Organized and Dependable Positive professional appearance and attitude Regularly demonstrates the ability to exercise independent judgment in times of need and emergency situations Familiarity with standards and requirements set forth by CIHQ and Health plans (Medical Group) Critical thinking skills Analytical skills Required: Bachelor’s degree 5-8 years’ experience as a Medical Staff Coordinator, in a medium to large size medical center with knowledge of medical staff function, credentialing, preparation of meeting minutes, regulatory standards such as CIHQ, Title XXII, health plans and CMA. CPCS and CPMSM certified   Preferred: Master’s degree in any healthcare administration related field MDStaff Super User certified or equivalent Knowledge of Medical Terminology
