Experienced NNPs are preferred but exceptional new graduates are encouraged to apply. HCA Houston Northwest Hospital, a steady-paced, Level III NICU, offers a combination of professional and personal satisfaction The unit has an average daily census of 12 patients and approximately 3,200 annual deliveries. A new, state-of-the-art NICU is under construction, expanding to a 30-bed unit In addition to 24/7 NNP coverage, there is MFM, OB and Newborn hospitalist on-site support NNPs work 24-hour, in-house shifts. Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries and daily rounding in the NICU Proclaimed as the nation’s fourth-largest city, Houston is a vibrant metropolis.
