NROTC Drop-in Tutor for Math and Physics
Job Summary
Provide individual and small
group tutoring to students. Assist students in improving academic achievement by meeting with them on a regular basis to identify learning
challenges and improving study skills.
Other assistance may include: reviewing class material, discussing the text, preparing for
tests, formulating ideas for papers, and working on solutions to help improve academic skills and abilities.
Tutoring is a supplement
to classroom teaching.

Responsibilities
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for
helping students to understand different subjects and develop transferable skills
Assess, assist and encourage the students in the
learning processes
Review materials used in classes, explain various topics, and answers all the doubts and questions of the student
regarding to that topic
Functions are a supplementation to the class room teaching
Minimum Qualifications
High
School Diploma, or equivalency; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are required.
The incumbent will be
required to pass a Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Background check
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to
perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
