LEADERSHIP PROFILE & POSITION
SUMMARY

Position Summary: Reporting to the Manager, OHIO Online Enrollment, the Senior
Enrollment Advisor represents the University to a wide variety of constituents, including prospective students and their families,
secondary and postsecondary school personnel, community-based organizations, and other individuals or organizations involved in the college
selection process. Coordinates and contributes to the success of initiatives designed to identify, attract, admit, and enroll students in
Ohio University’s undergraduate online programs. Communicates with prospective students and applicants using a high level of
personalization and customer service to offer guidance throughout the admission process. May conduct training for staff on enrollment
policies and procedures and act as a mentor to resolve nonroutine enrollment management practices.

KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES

Counseling and Advising on Admissions and Enrollment Processes: The Senior
Enrollment Advisor facilitates prospective students through the admissions process for OHIO online programs. Conducts outreach with
prospective students to gauge eligibility and interest for OHIO online programs, builds and manages active pipeline of leads, communicates
with prospective students via call campaigns, emails and other forms of communication and utilizes database tools to efficiently track each
interaction and the progress of all assigned leads. Communicates OHIO’s values, benefits and differentiating features to prospective
students. Listens, probes, recognizes and considers prospective students’ needs to determine which OHIO program is the best fit. Executes a
recruitment plan designed to encourage, support, and guide prospective students through the application process for the desired program.
Maintains consistent contact with current and prospective students, providing the highest level of customer service to all stakeholders.
Meets daily efficiency metrics and achieves enrollment targets assigned per program. The Senior Enrollment Advisor follows-up on inquiries
to engage prospective students in discussion about their goals, interests, and eligibility for online undergraduate programs. Builds deep
knowledge of OHIO’s online undergraduate programs and effectively communicates program attributes and benefits to prospective students.
Communicates OHIO’s values, benefits and differentiating features to prospective students. Keeps track of relevant data and updates CRM to
reflect most accurate information for each prospective student.

Assists in strategic development for lead management
and communication and admissions processes to achieve program, unit, and university goals. Utilizes internal data and metrics and industry
best practices to evaluate performance. Recommends changes based on evaluation to continuously improve outcomes. Collaborates with
supervisor to ensure effectiveness in enrollment strategies. Monitors progress toward recruitment, admission, or yield targets for assigned
academic programs or populations, and proposes action or adjustments as needed. Continuously looks for opportunities to increase efficiency
and effectiveness, and creates better methods of engaging with prospective students. Effectively communicates quality of leads and program
updates for appropriate cross-functional and internal team members.

Evaluation of Admissions Materials:
Evaluates applications and supplemental materials for the purposes of making admission decisions. Conducts thorough, holistic,
selective review of an applicant’s candidacy. Determines necessary documentation to support an admission decision and recommends
appropriate alternative pathways when admission cannot be offered.

Collaboration with University Partners:
Coordinates and collaborates with other members of the OHIO Online team to develop strategies and guide students throughout the
enrollment process. Guides the work of other team members to drive consistency in the admission lifecycle, from inquiry through
registration. Interprets policy and procedures to resolve non-routine issues. Collaborates with an assigned academic and/or administrative
unit to facilitate integrated recruitment and admission functions and resolve issues of competing priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES VARY SEASONALLY ACCORDING TO THE RECRUITMENT AND ADMISSION LIFECYCLE FOR A GIVEN TARGETED POPULATION OR ENTRY
TERM.

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s
degree and at least 3-years of related work experience or a master’s degree with at least 1-year of related work experience. Work
experience may be attributed to a combination of related paid employment, related student employment, relevant internships, and, in some
cases, relevant experiential learning with appropriate documentation. Candidates must have the ability to travel independently up to twelve
weeks annually (intermittent; travel requirements vary by position).

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates living in Ohio or within a surrounding region. Candidates with a master’s degree are

Pay Rate: Based on extensive
benchmarking data, the OHIO Online Senior Admissions Advisor position is mapped to Pay Grade CA&P 15 at OHIO, with a target hiring range of
$40,296-$45,837. The exact base salary for the selected candidate will be negotiable, commensurate with education and experience, and
competitive in the field within the context of similarly situated positions at public universities nationally.
