Summary
Platt Student Performing Arts House and the PAC Shop is seeking a qualified individual to oversee scenic/costume shop
operations for student groups in the Performing Arts Council at the University of Pennsylvania. Successful candidates will be able to
provide design and technical advice, provide training on tools and equipment, perform general maintenance and upkeep of shop machinery and
tools (Scenic and costume), promote safety procedures, and manage shop schedules for student groups who produce over 70 shows per
year.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED and 2 to 3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and
experience, are required. - BA in Theater, Technical Theater or related field is preferred.
- Experience working with college
students is strongly preferred. - Knowledge of both scenic and costume construction is preferred.
- Patience, sensitivity, and
willingness to work unusual hours required.
