Kingston, New York, The Valet position functions as a critical Guest Relations ambassador of the hospital. The primary role focuses on greeting, assisting, and providing direction to all persons entering the hospital. The position manages customer drop-offs and vehicle parking, for the distinct purpose of assisting customers to meet appointments, and personal time schedules. This position additionally functions as the area and access control monitor, working in conjunction with Safety& Security Services. This job is additionally cross-trained to Switchboard Operator/Dispatcher functions and courier task responsibilities. Responsibilities: Licensure and Certifications: Employee maintains current licensure and/or required certifications. (If ‘No’ employee is put on leave without pay until in compliance) Annual Mandatory Education: Employee completes annual Mandatory Education Module, Annual Health Assessment,Age Specific requirements, etc… (If ‘No’ employee is put on leave without pay until in compliance) Time and Attendance: Employee complies with all HealthAlliance and departmental policies for time and attendance. Professional Appearance: Employee complies with HealthAlliance policy for professional Appearance (Dress Code), including wearing ID Badge. Safety – maintains a safe environment for patients, visitors, physicians and employees. Responsibilities/Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED certificate.
Experience: The individual should have experience in, or be quickly adept to mastering the skills of a high profile customer relations specialist, which focus= on providing customer satisfaction. The individual should possess exceptional organizational ability and time management skills, and shall demonstrate proficiency in driving standard shift vehicles.
