Tyler, Texas, Description Summary: Responsible to oversee daily operations of assigned areas. Assist the Patient Access Director in maintaining department reports. Assist in overall areas as needed. Also, coordinate the functions of the following admissions areas: Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Room, Day Surgery, Auditors and Customer Service. Responsible for insuring staff in trained and performance objectives are met. Create and maintains work schedule and manages time of team members. Requirements: High school diploma/GED required. Call center, scheduling, pre-access and/or hospital experience is preferred. Minimum of one (1) year experience as a lead or supervisor is a plus. Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) certification preferred but not required.
