Schedule : Per Diem Shift : Variable The community you’ll be caring for: · Flagler is a charming seaside community that is part of the Palm Coast · The Palm Coast area is a growing community resulting in the current construction of a second hospital scheduled to open in late 2022 · Stroll through a secluded nature preserve on one of the many biking and walking paths including the Great Florida Birding Trail. · From saltwater fishing to deep sea diving, sprawling golf courses to oceanfront restaurants, you’ll have plenty of ways to spend your free time and enjoy the warm weather – all right in your backyard · With close proximity to Daytona Beach, St. Augustine, Jacksonville and Orlando, you’ll have easy access to some of Florida’s most renowned hotspots and world-class attractions The role you’ll contribute: The Pharmacy Technician prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders. The Pharmacy Technician II will provide safe and accurate medication services and will support all those involved in direct patient care. The value you’ll bring to the team: Actively performs all pharmacy technician functions and maintains active proficiency in principle duties.
Maintains operational expertise in and actively provides coverage of the technician services provided by Central Pharmacy IV Room Delivery Controlled Substances Oversees appropriate utilization of medication automation, technology, and computer systems Accurately oversees the management of medication inventories and the preparation and delivery of patient-specific medication doses. Supports practice in decentralized areas Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: High school diploma or equivalent Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist Intern license Preferred one year of contemporary hospital experience This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
