Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics (ACHP) brings pediatric primary care for babies, children and teens to many northeast&nbspOhio communities through our&nbsp37+&nbsppediatric offices. &nbspWe have recently expanded our New Philadelphia office to meet the demand of regional growth. This location offers primary care, cardiology, PT, OT, Speech and Mental Health services. The practice is seeking&nbspa Board Certified&nbspor Board Eligible&nbspPediatrician to join our&nbspexperienced 4 board certified pediatricians and 5 certified nurse practitioners&nbspto provide excellent outpatient care to our patients. This practice partners with Union Hospital Cleveland Clinic in Dover, Ohio and provides high-risk call in the community.

Call will be approximately 1:4 for well newborn nursery coverage. Attendance at deliveries when on call is optional although happens only infrequently. Physicians are compensated above their regular salary when on call for high risk deliveries and may opt out of the high-risk call. There are two neonatal nurse practitioners and pediatric hospitalists that assist in weekend call as well. This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government. &nbsp Our offices follow standard hospital-based policies, while retaining the local culture of each practice. Our physicians enjoy the use of EPIC as a system-wide integrated electronic health record. Our primary care offices are all PCMH certified. The&nbsp Patient-Centered Medical Home &nbspis a model of care that puts patients at the forefront of care. PCMHs build better relationships between people and their clinical care teams.
