Job Description

As the production coordinator for school of film and acting, you will coordinate with faculty and students to develop and implement
production schedules, budgets, and staffing plans. You will be responsible for obtaining permits and licenses for all film projects,
overseeing the hiring of cast and crew members while coordinating their schedules, and purchasing needed equipment and materials. In this
position, you will monitor and track the budget, ensure all safety protocols are followed, assist with the editing process, and maintain
production records and reports for each project. Additional responsibilities in this position will include driving production vehicles,
coordinating with internal support offices on production needs, and completing weekly production reports for the department that outline
developments and updates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in film or related field
  • At
    least three years of production experience
  • Working knowledge of industry standard software and hardware
  • Excellent
    communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced
    environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to drive 16-foot cargo truck
  • Proficiency with
    industry standard preproduction and postproduction software (MovieMagic, Studio Binder, Premiere Pro, AVOID, DaVinci
    Resolve)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Background in production
  • Passion for film

licenses, and registrations:
Driver’s license

Travel Required: Less than 10%

Work Hours:
The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To
