Wilmington, Delaware, The Research Program Coordinator is responsible for providing direct administrative and management support to Research Finance. Ensures the schedule of appointments and meetings for the Research Finance team and ensures meetings and committees are organized (Agendas & Minutes) and kept up to date and reflect the priorities as required. Serves as the administrative lead for coding all Payable invoices for the Research Department for al funding sources. Composes and prepares correspondence, letters, and complex documents including graphics, charts and special project reports on behalf of the program leader (s) and Research Administration ; facilitates paperwork of a confidential and/or sensitive nature. Serves as a key resource person to support team members and others related to effort reporting requirements . Routinely multi-tasks, solves complex problems and is open to constant challenge and change. Position requires extensive knowledge of the research environment as a whole, policies and standard practices. Initiates and maintains positive working relationships with internal (ex. IRB, Compliance, OSP, Accounting, Research Administration, Clinical areas, etc. ).

Ability to work independently and prioritize is essential. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs and ability to learn other needed software programs is required. Ability to achieve results in the absence of explicit guidance and/or instruction is expected. Provide accurate coding for all Non-PO invoices related to the Research Dept. Coordinate with key personnel (including OSP and Research Administration) to provide timely and accurate coding in the Harmony System and Process Credit Card Payments monthly for Research. Prepare and distribute various Accounts Payable related invoice reports for Research Administration or Principal Investigators. Provide regulatory oversight for all Center research activities and support center personnel in facilitating research. Serve as a liaison on designated committees and teams. Lead staff recruitment, training, and supervision, and assist with faculty recruitment and training as needed. Maintain the Research Finance internal website content alongside Research Finance Leadership, including regular updates and enhancements.

Upload daily Labor Distribution Schedule to SharePoint. Assist in effort certification process including tracking all certifications have been received and approved by PIs. Preparation of confidential documentation; prepares or assists with preparation of personnel paperwork as requested; assist with preparation of slide and poster presentations as requested. Maintains TimeKeeper profiles needed to support Clinical Core effort allocations. Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee’s supervisor.
