Houston, Texas, Job Summary The Program Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating programs, projects and delegated duties related to the daily activities of the department ensuring the development, implementation and maintenance of an effective IT Program management office. . This position is responsible for managing programs or projects with an administrative focus from strategy development to completion. The position maintains frequent cross-functional interactions at the senior management level and defines problems, scopes parameters, develops strategies, task/solution specifications, identifies and secures needed resources, and develops and updates project plans, timetables and milestones. The position maintains and distributes documentation and communication to keep members informed, on task, and on time. Minimum Qualifications Degrees: a) Bachelor of Science in Nursing b) Master of Science in Nursing (Preferred) Work Experience: Three (3) Years Work Experience of program/project management Data management, performance improvement processes. Management Experience: Two (2) Years of Management Experience or supervisory capacity. Communication Skills: a) Above average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact) b) Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking) c) Writing/ Correspondence d) Writing/Reports Proficiencies: a) MS Word b) Personal Computer Job Attributes Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: a) Analytical Abilities b) Mathematics c) Medical Terminology Knowledge d) Statistical Knowledge and Abilities Work Schedule: Flexible Other Special Requirements: Equipment Operated: Computer skills in Windows environment, word processing, database management and reporting spreadsheets.
