Summary:  Growing and dynamic company is looking for full time Quality Manager for a demanding yet rewarding position. You must be highly competent, mechanically resourceful, detail-oriented and an exceptional communicator. This position will require experience and knowledge in multiple disciplines including ASME welding procedures, ASME safety valve repair as well as use of a multitude of various Mechanical Test equipment and measuring devices. It will be a very demanding job with a high level of attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversight of all quality control aspects of the companies’ services which include but are not limited to:

Perform audits of programs as required.
Perform training on programs as required.
Review/certification of work and documentation supporting such work.
Perform casual analysis for system and program breakdowns.
Review company procedures and practices to ensure they comply with all applicable codes and standards.
Monitor finished products to confirm their compliance with quality standards and remove those which fail to comply.
Hold meeting with management and supervision to discuss quality control issues.

Quality control programs you will oversee:

Machining to include reverse engineering of Nuclear non-safety related components.
Welding to include R-stamp requirements.
“VR” and “T/O” programs for Safety and Pressure relief valve repair and testing

Competencies:  You must possess the ability to exercise good judgment, problem solve, work independently, and be motivated to perform to the best of your abilities. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, written and oral communication skills, computer and technical skills, analytical and reporting skills as well as high ethical standards. You should be willing to take on any challenge but also know your limitations.
Education and/or Experience: Experience in Valve repair/testing, Pressure relief and Safety valve repair and testing, Welding procedures and inspections, repair using CNC/manual lathes and mills and use of manual Mechanical Test Equipment to verify component acceptance criteria. A safety professional background would be a plus but not necessary.
Work ability:  Must be able to work in the United States.
Compensation & Hours:  We offer a competitive salary with benefits commensurate with experience. We are only looking for full-time individuals. This is  NOT  a remote position.

Shop location with a potential for some field visits.

Schedule:

 Monday – Friday 6:30AM to 3 PM with overtime as needed.
