Saint Louis, Missouri, Additional Information About the Role BJC HealthCare is seeking a Quality Manager for our Supply Chain. This is a new role and we are looking for someone who is able to develop a quality program for supplier relationships from scratch. By developing integrated processes to manage product selection and utilization, contracting, purchasing, logistics, distribution, and payment we can ensure our patients have the supplies they need while minimizing the overall cost to our organization.
By following the purchasing policies, using the products under contract, and preventing waste, you help make sure we spend our supply dollars wisely. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose This position is responsible for ensuring overall quality and reliability of supplies purchased by and delivered to BJC Central Service Center (CSC). Manages overall supplier relationship effort for BJC and develop ongoing supplier review process to ensure BJC manages top spend and key suppliers. Responsibilities Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals. Develop and manage supplier resiliency process. Continually monitor risk in the BJC supply chain (internal and external) and take timely action to address identified risks. Provide regular executive report on resiliency status and related actions/project plans to mitigate risk.
Develop and manage overall Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to ensure continued operations of BJC supply chain in the face of a risk or disruption. Develop and manage supplier quality strategy, metrics/KPI’s and processes to aid and improve overall supply chain performance at BJC. Manage and coordinate supplier Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process with Strategic Sourcing and Operations. Carry out focused supplier validation audits as needed to support supply chain operations. Assist in validation of new suppliers and products.
