ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS
The county is composed of six Constituencies, 15 administrative divisions namely: Ainamoi,Belgut, Kabianga, Bureti, Roret, Cheborge, Sigowet and Soin. Other Admibnistrative Divisions are: Kunyak, Chilchila, Kamasian, Kipkelion, Londiani, Sorget and Chepseon. These are further su-devided into 85 locations that are further sub-divided into 209 sub-locations. It covers an area of2,479 sq. km.KCPSB/2023/200

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade into this cadre; an officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.

Duties and responsibilities entail: –

Preparation of bills of quantities;
Participating in tender checking, evaluation and reporting;
site measurements and surveying work in progress;
preparation of interim payments; and
Collection analysis of cost data on building and civil engineering works for preparation of construction cost handbook.

Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: –

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields;- Building Economics or Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution;
Been registered as a Graduate member of Either the Architectural Association of Kenya or Institution of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya; and
Proficiency in computer applications.
Terms of Service: Three (3) Year Contract.
